Payment and Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Engine International (Hong Kong HardQuest International Limited) for your cross-border website building services. To protect your legitimate rights and interests and clarify payment and refund matters during the service process, we have formulated this policy. Please read and understand it carefully before purchasing our services.
I. Payment Policy
1. Service Fees
- Our cross-border website building service fees are implemented according to the service plan and quotation confirmed by both parties, with specific amounts subject to contract agreement (referencing our service model, basic service fees can be as low as $6,000 USD, with specific amounts varying according to service content).
- Fees include website development, AI traffic model deployment, multi-device responsive design, security protection configuration, localization design optimization and other service content, but do not include third-party services (such as domain registration, server rental, SSL certificate renewal, etc. These can be negotiated separately if needed).
2. Payment Methods
- We support mainstream localized payment methods worldwide, including but not limited to credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), regional e-wallets, and bank transfers.
- Payment currency can be adapted according to the service region, with USD as the default settlement currency. Special regions can negotiate conversion to local legal tender.
3. Payment Process
- After confirming the service plan, a 50% advance payment is required to initiate project development;
- After website functions are completed and pass mid-term acceptance, 30% progress payment is required;
- After the website is officially launched and final acceptance is completed, the remaining 20% final payment is required;
- After all payments are completed, we will provide formal invoices.
II. Refund Policy
1. Refundable Circumstances
- Pre-project Refund: If you request service termination before project initiation (before any design or development work), we can fully refund the advance payment already paid; if non-refundable third-party fees such as domain registration and server purchase have been incurred, these will be deducted from the advance payment before refunding the remaining amount.
- Mid-development Refund: If you request service termination during project development (before mid-term acceptance completion), fees will be calculated based on completed work progress (referencing industry standards and contractually agreed stage workload), deducting completed portion fees and actual third-party expenses before refunding remaining amounts.
- Service Quality Issue Refund: If the website cannot achieve core functions agreed in the contract due to our company's reasons (such as responsive design incompatibility with mainstream devices, security protection not achieving triple protection, etc.), after mutual confirmation, partial or full refund can be negotiated, with specific proportions determined according to the severity of the issue.
2. Non-refundable Circumstances
- The website has completed final acceptance and is officially launched, and you request a refund for non-service quality reasons such as "own business adjustment" or "market changes";
- Project delays or termination due to your own reasons such as incomplete materials provided or frequent requirement changes, and you request a refund;
- You have already enjoyed value-added services provided by our company such as AI traffic optimization and localized marketing, and the services have produced actual results (such as traffic growth reaching agreed proportions);
- Service cannot continue due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, policy changes, etc.), and our company has fulfilled reasonable notification obligations.
3. Refund Process
- You need to submit a refund application in writing (via email or contractually agreed communication channels), stating the refund reason and amount, and provide relevant supporting materials;
- Our company will review within 3 working days after receiving the application, and negotiate refund amount and method with you after approval;
- After reaching agreement, refund will be completed within 7-15 working days, with refund arrival time subject to payment channel and bank processing cycles.
III. Other Provisions
- Matters not covered by this policy will be implemented according to the service contract signed by both parties and relevant laws and regulations;
- If you have any questions about payment or refund, you can communicate with us through website customer service channels or contact information reserved in the contract, and we will respond within 24 hours;
- Hong Kong HardQuest International Limited reserves the final right of interpretation of this policy. If the policy is updated, it will be announced on the website homepage and automatically take effect 30 days after announcement.
